Outdoor Christmas decorations are a terrific way to liven neighborhoods. Many times the neighbors will consult with each other about who will put up specific outdoor Christmas decorations to coordinate the look in the neighborhood. I noticed in one neighborhood that an entire story was told on one line of the street because all of the neighbors had gotten together and created a very powerful and wonderful outdoor Christmas story. Each yard of Christmas decorations was part of the story. It was really amazing.
