I have got various forms of malware or spyware installed on my PC. I get many pop ups and phony programs showing in the taskbar. I have managed to clean most out of the system - if not all of that. The pop ups have ceased. It is a fact that the computer has become sluggish and programs are becoming non-responsive.

Each time I log in to msn messenger my computer freezes - I have to switch off the power. The symptom is a blinking icon on the system tray saying System has detected a number of active spyware. It is even present while booting in safe mode. The program runs fine until I log in. Could someone help please! thanks!

I work for a medium sized computer firm. We are a group of twenty-two people in my office and are committed to getting as many people aware of the malpractice of phishing and pharming and providing them with support in installing effective anti phishing software's on their systems for free.

We have taken this initiative because most of us in our group have been victims of phishing and pharming at some stage in our lives and we also know the value of hard earned money. It is actually very easy to be well protected from scams. A little awareness is all that is required for this.

Being cautious about providing any detail on the net unless you are very sure it is a genuine site helps a lot. Counter checking information you receive by mail with your bank or the company in question every time will be helpful.

What do you use for anti-virus and anti-spyware? I use the free versions of anti-virus and anti-spyware. I'm thinking of purchasing the pro/full versions. Which are the best ones in market? Where can I find reviews on it?
